The Lotus Europa S follows the core Lotus philosophy of performance
The Lotus Europa S follows the core Lotus philosophy of performance
through light weight enabling this refined and very high performing GT car
to weigh just 995 kg. This low weight has been obtained through the clever
use of advanced and high tech materials including an extruded and bonded
aluminium chassis, composite body panels and a very advanced composite
energy absorbing front crash structure.
When compared to the award winning Lotus Elise, the Europa S has a
larger boot / luggage compartment and easier cabin access, resulting from
lower chassis sides and a higher roof line. Coupled with luxuries such as
full leather interior, driver and passenger airbags and carpets all as
standard, Lotus has created a Business Class driving experience.
However, the Europa S is not a derivative of the Elise or the Exige
and has been allocated a separate Lotus type number of Type 121 - the Elise
and Exige are both Type 111.
The new mid-engined coupe will deliver high levels of performance
from a high torque (263 Nm or 194 lbft at 4200 rpm) 2.0-litre turbo engine
producing 149 kW (200 hp or 203 PS) at 5400rpm. The Lotus Europa S achieves
around 90% of its maximum torque at only 2000 rpm to give super car levels
of acceleration from low engine speeds, propelling the car from 0 -96 km/h
(60 mph) in around 5.5 seconds, and 160 km/h (100 mph) in around 14 seconds.
Maximum speed is approximately 225 km/h (140 mph). Being a Lotus, the Europa
S has a phenomenal power to weight ratio of 201 hp / tonne (204 PS / tonne

Europa S lotus silver car
In keeping with Lotus' "Business Class" theme for the new Europa, the car is more sophisticated and understated than the more in-your-face styling of the Elise. Fortunately, the higher level of sophistication is accomplished without sacrificing the kind of performance we've come to expect from Lotus - 0-60 mph in about 5.5 seconds and 0-100 in around 14 seconds.

2005 Yamaha Virago 250
Bigger is not always better. Case in point, the Virago 250: a smaller, lightweight cruiser packed with big-bike amenities. In fact, it’s one of the only 250cc cruisers with the hot-blooded rumble of a genuine V-twin engine, which leaves us with one simple truth: The only thing more beautiful than the way the Virago looks is the way it works.
Meet the Virago 250, a feature-packed, lightweight cruiser.
The Virago 250 is a quarter-liter mount that the magazine press dubbed, affectionately, a "kick-butt little cruiser." We have been saying that for years, and so have the multitudes of motorcyclists who've discovered the joy of cruising aboard one.

Audi Shooting Brake Concept
At Tokyo Motor Show in late October, Audi unveiled a new highlight in the sporty compact segment, with its Shooting Brake Concept.
The Shooting Brake is a study that offers a further trailblazing interpretation of Audi's current formal design idiom, blending the powerful dynamism of a sports car with a new sense of spaciousness and greater functionality.
With its powerful 250 bhp, 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine and quattro permanent four-wheel drive, the Shooting Brake Concept produces a quality of road behaviour that lives up to its visual impact in every sense. The study vehicle sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just six seconds, and its top speed is electronically governed at 250 km/h.

An elegant strong Audi Cross Coupe quattro concept
Audi is determined to launch 15 new models by the end of the decade with focus centering on the crossover-utility market, which is seen by Audi exec Wolfgang Hoffmann as “a segment that holds a lot of potential for growth.” We’ve already seen the release of the new A5 coupe and now Audi has given us a preview of its next model with the unveiling of the Cross Coupe quattro concept that will star at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show.
Basically the forerunner to the all-new Q3 compact SUV, the four-seater concept car sports huge 20in wheels, a fabric folding roof and a transversely positioned four-cylinder TDI engine under the hood. The 2.0L motor features common-rail fuel injection with piezo technology, and outputs 204bhp and 400Nm of torque. Debuting in the new Cross Coupe is a single component lighting system that employs LED technology for both headlights and cornering lights. Other technologies incorporated into the concept include a Bluetec filtering system, Haldex AWD, an S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox and ceramic brake discs.
This car has good interior inside and elegant exterior shape. You will feel the king of the road. Feel the real car! It is qualified for racing.
